‘Soup Cans’ explores the aftermath of consumerism, reimagining Warhol’s iconic work within a postmodern, dystopian context. Each ‘can’ is slip cast in earthenware clay with kiln fired decals used to achieve the high level of detail seen on the labels. The cans are then finished with rust effect enamel spray. Cans are approximately 11 x 7 cm.
